Dream Big

Dream Big

If there were ever a time to dare,
to make a difference,
to embark on something worth doing,
it is now.
Not for any grand cause, necessarily-
but for something that tugs at your heart,
something that's your aspiration,
something that's your dream.

You owe it to yourself
to make your days here count.
Have fun.
Dig Deep.
Stretch.

Dream big.

Know, though, that things worth doing
seldom come easy.
There will be good days.
There will be times when you want to turn around,
pack it up,
and call it quits.
those times tell you
that you are pushing yourself,
that you are not afraid to learn by trying.

Persist.

Because with an idea,
determination,
and the right tools,
you can do great things.
Let your instincts,
your intellect,
and your heart
guide you.

Trust.

Believe in the incredible power of the human mind.
Of doing something that makes a difference.
Of working hard.
Of laughing and hoping.
Of lazy afternoons.
Of lasting friends.
Of all the things that will cross your path this year.

The start of something new
brings the hope of something great.
Anything is possible.
There is only one you.
And you will pass this way only once.
Do it right.

Seloka Cinta Remaja

Berkelipan kelipan bintang
Tambah seri rembulan
Berpasangan pasangan sayang
Muda-mudi di taman
Bergurau-gurauan
Tandanya sayang

Bergoyang-goyangan dahan
Dari pohon-pohonan
Ada yang berjanji-janjian
Ada rindu-rinduan
Semakin terang rembulan
Seloka cinta remaja
Di taman bunga
Berpesan dalam irama
Rentak chachacha
Berpasang-pasangan boleh
Tapi ada batasan
Berkasih-kasihan boleh
Iman dilupa jangan
Bergaduh sampai ke malam
Balik rumah ayah terekam

Wahai remaja
Kalau bercinta
Janganlah leka
Janganlah lupa
Berjaga-jaga
Jangan kau terpedaya

I'll be going to sing this song at Festkum. Wish me luck ye! :)

Tanya Sama Itu Hud-hud..

Tujuh puluh tiga pintu Tujuh puluh tiga jalan Yang sampai hanya satu jalan
Beribu-ribu Margasatua Mencari raja si Muraq Yang sampai hanya tiga puluh
Ooh... Sang AlgojoOoh... nanti dulu
Lihat dunia dari mata burung Atau dari dalam tempurung Yang mana satu engkau pilih Dalam kalut ada peraturan Peraturan mencipta kekalutan Di mana pula kau berdiri Di sini
Ooh... Sang AlgojoOoh... nanti dulu

"Tentu saja kita harus berusaha bersama-sama mencari seorang raja untuk kita semua; karena tidak ada negeri yang memiliki tatanan yang baik, tanpa seorang raja;
Setelah mereka mendengarkan penjelasan bagaimana suka dukanya, pahit getirnya perjalanan menuju istana Simurg, ternyata semangat sebagian burung menjadi pudar dan turun.
Akhirnya, mereka memahami hakikat dirinya, setelah melewati tahapan fana' billah hingga mencapai puncak baqa'billah.

Three Little Words..

Three little words can make a difference in one's life. There are many things that we can do to perk up and strengthen our interpersonal relationships. Yet the most effective involves the saying of just three words.
When spoken or conveyed, these statements have the power to forge new friendships, deepen old ones and restore relationships that have cooled. The following three-word phrases can enrich every relationship.

I'll Be There: If you have ever had to call a friend in the middle of the night, to take a sick child to hospital, or when your car has broken down some miles from home, you will know how good it feels to hear the phrase "I'll be there." Being there for another person is the greatest gift we can give. When we are truly present for other people, important things happen to them and us. We are renewed in love and friendship. We are restored emotionally and spiritually. Being there is at the very core of civility.

I Miss You: Perhaps more marriages could be saved and strengthened if couples simply and sincerely said to each other "I miss you." This powerful affirmation tells partners they are wanted, needed, desired and loved. Consider how ecstatic you would feel, if you received an unexpected phone call from your spouse in the middle of your workday, just to say "I miss you."

I Respect You: Respect is another way of showing love. Respect conveys the feeling that another person is a true equal. If you talk to your children as if they were adults you will strengthen the bonds and become close friends. This applies to all inter-personal relationships.
Maybe You're Right: This phrase is highly effective in diffusing an argument and restoring frayed emotions. The flip side to "maybe your right" is the humility of admitting, "Maybe I'm wrong". Let's face it. When you have a heated argument with someone, all you do is cement the other person's point of view. They, or you, will not change their stance and you run the risk of seriously damaging the relationship between you. Saying "maybe you're right" can open the door to further explore the subject, in which you may then have the opportunity to get your view across in a more rational manner.

Please Forgive Me: Many broken relationships could be restored and healed if people would admit their mistakes and ask for forgiveness. All of us are vulnerable to faults, follies and failures. A man should never be ashamed to own up that he has been in the wrong, which is saying, in other words, that he is wiser today than he was yesterday.
Thank You: Gratitude is an exquisite form of courtesy. People who enjoy the companionship of good, close friends are those who don't take daily courtesies for granted. They are quick to thank their friends for their many expressions of kindness. On the other hand, people whose circle of friends is severely constricted often do not have the attitude of gratitude.

Count On Me: A friend is one who walks in when others walk out. Loyalty is an essential ingredient for true friendship; it is the emotional glue that bonds people. Those that are rich in their relationships tend to be steady and true friends. When troubles come, a good friend is there indicating you can "count on me."

Let Me Help: The best of friends see a need and try to fill it. When they spot a hurt they do what they can to heal it. Without being asked, they pitch in and help.

I Understand You: People become closer and enjoy each other more if they feel the other person accepts and understands them. Letting your spouse know in so many little ways that you understand them, is one of the most powerful tools for healing your relationship. This applies to any relationship.

I Love You: Perhaps the most important three words that you can say. Telling someone that you truly love them satisfies a person's deepest emotional needs; the need to belong, to feel appreciated and to be wanted. Your family, your friends and you, all need to hear those three little words. "I love you."

Happiness is a state of mind...

Happiness
We convince ourselves that life will be better after we get married, have a baby, then another. Then we are frustrated that the kids aren't old enough and we'll be more content when they are. After that, we're frustrated that we have teenagers to deal with. We will certainly be happy when they are out of that stage.

We tell ourselves that our life will be complete when our spouse gets his or her act together, when we get a nicer car, are able to go on a nice vacation, when we retire.

The truth is, there's no better time to be happy than right now. If not now, when?

Your life will always be filled with challenges. It's best to admit this to yourself and decide to be happy anyway.

One of my favorite quotes comes from Alfred D. Souza. He said, "For a long time it had seemed to me that life was about to begin - real life. But there was always some obstacle in the way, something to be gotten through first, some unfinished business, time still to be served, or a debt to be paid. Then life would begin. At last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life."

This perspective has helped me to see that there is no way to happiness. Happiness is the way.
So, treasure every moment that you have and treasure it more because you shared it with someone special, special enough to spend your time...and remember that time waits for no one.

So, stop waiting until you finish school, until you go back to school, until you lose ten pounds, until you gain ten pounds, until you have kids, until your kids leave the house, until you start work, until you retire, until you get married, until you get divorced, until Friday night, until Sunday morning, until you get a new car or home, until your car or home is paid off, until spring, until summer,  until fall, until winter, until you are off welfare, until the first or fifteenth, until your song comes on, until you've had a drink, until you've sobered up, until you die, until you are born again to decide that there is no better time than right now to be happy.

Happiness is a journey, not a destination. Work like you don't need money, Love like you've never been hurt, And dance like no one's watching.

Life Quotes.. ^_^

What lies behind us,
and what lies before us,
are tiny matters, compared to
what lies within us...............
Life is short.
Cherish it.
Do what you want.
Treasure what you have.
And love who you want.
Life is short as we are in the end time. Always treasure what you
have now or you will regret it
If you replay a year of your life and find no joy or sadness, You
have wasted a year. - Ally Mcbeal
Two men are equals - true equals - only when they both have equal confidence.
I came across two roads and I,
I took the one less travelled by,
And that has made all the difference. - Robert Frost
LIFE IS ... a song -- sing it
... a game -- play it
... a challenge -- meet it
... a dream -- live it
... a sacrifice -- offer it
... love -- enjoy it
The beauty of life does not depend on how happy you are
but on how happy others can be because of you.
A Vision comes in advance of any task well done.
Who Dares Wins
What we do in life, echoes in eternity
- Maximus Decimus Meridas

Bila Cinta..

Bila cinta kini
Tak lagi bermakna
Yang ku rasa kini
Hanyalah nestapa
Di tinggalkan cinta masa lalu
Dulu kau tawarkan
Manisnya janjimu
Dan ku sambut itu
Dengan segenap hatiku
Bila engkau pergi
Tinggalkan ku
Hilangnya cintamu
Menusuk hatiku
Hingga ku memilih
Cinta yang fana
Perginya dirimu
Merobek jantungku
Hingga ku terjatuh
Dalam harapan
Hilangnya cintamu
Menusuk hatiku
Hingga ku terjatuh
Dalam harapan
                                                                      Dalam harapan...

Menusuk jiwa.. Apapun, cinta kpd Allah SWT la yg plg sempurna.. :)

I Wish For You..

Comfort on difficult days,
Smiles when sadness intrudes,
Rainbows to follow the clouds,
Laughter to kiss your lips,
Sunsets to warm your heart,
Gentle hugs when spirits sag,
Friendships to brighten your being,
Beauty for your eyes to see,
Confidence for when you doubt,
Faith so that you can believe,
Courage to know yourself,
Patience to accept the truth,
Have a blessed day.

Learn to let go..

Are you bothered by something which has haunted you for a long long time? Do you wish things had turned out differently, or feel you could have handled things better? Are you still sore about it?
First and foremost, you got to realise that what's done is done. It's over, and unless someone invents a time machine, there's probably nothing much you can do to change the past. It's confined to history.
If you allow yourself to be constantly dragged down by it, you will find that you are carrying a very heavy burden. With such a large baggage, it is difficult to live life to the fullest.
If you allow yourself to be greatly affected by it, you might find yourself overcome with anger, bitterness and frustration. These negative emotions are going to lower the quality of your life.
Learn to let go. Let the past be a lesson, an experience to make you stronger. If you can, avoid the same mistakes. But don't let it become a burden to you. ~ami

If You Could See Me Now..

From the internationally bestselling author of PS, I LOVE YOU, a lively and romantic novel about two lost souls who find each other in the most unexpected way.
Everything in Elizabeth Egan’s life has its place, from the espresso cups in her gleaming kitchen to the swatches and paint pots of her interior design business. Order and precision keep life under control—and keep Elizabeth’s heart from the pain and hurt she has suffered in the past. Being a reluctant mother to her six-year-old nephew while trying to keep her business on track is a full-time job for Elizabeth, and one that leaves little room for error—or fun.
Until, one day, Ivan unexpectedly comes into their lives. The mysterious Ivan is carefree, spontaneous and always looking for adventure—everything that Elizabeth is not. If You Could See Me Now is the extraordinary tale of Ivan and Elizabeth. Of how Ivan meets the love of his life before she even sees him, and how he teaches her that life is only worth living when it's blindingly colourful and the occasional mess. Yet just when Elizabeth is starting to trust him, it turns out that Ivan isn't at all who she thought he was.
Playful and at times intensely moving, this is a novel about how seeing isn't always believing. Full of Cecelia Ahern’s trademark warmth and poignancy, If You Could See Me Now is a story of enormous heart--and just a little bit of magic.
My most favorite book I've ever had! Luv this book soooo much.. :)

I Can't Smile Without You~ Barry Manilow

You know I can't smile without you
I can't smile without you
I can't laugh and I can't sing
I'm finding it hard to do anything
You see I feel sad when you're sad
I feel glad when you're glad
If you only knew what I'm going through
I just can't smile without you

You came along just like a song
And brightened my day
Who would have believed that you were part of a dream
Now it all seems light years away

And now you know I can't smile without you
I can't smile without you
I can't laugh and I can't sing
I'm finding it hard to do anything
You see I feel sad when you're sad
I feel glad when you're glad
If you only knew what I'm going through
I just can't smile

Now some people say happiness takes so very long to find
Well, I'm finding it hard leaving your love behind me

And you see I can't smile without you
I can't smile without you
I can't laugh and I can't sing
I'm finding it hard to do anything
You see I feel glad when you're glad
I feel sad when you're sad
If you only knew what I'm going through
I just can't smile without you

One of my favorite song. Have a nice day! ^_^

my first time ever!

assalamualaikum wth...

Quite poyo di sini ye. X kisah la. Anyway, these two weeks I need to buckle up all those 5 subjects which I think it takes a lot of energy n strength to memorize them because this month is the final exam!!! Ayoyo! I've been sleeping only for two hours per day. My timetable has been chaos! But, it's okay. This coming Sunday, I have to perform well in front of the UUM  Music's director before we go to FESTKUM. Huhu. He makes me butterfly in my stomach! I don't know whether I can be what he wants. I hope so.. Tgk la mcmn. Okay la. Gotta go now. I need to settle down other things today. Before that, I want to share something with you. It reminds me of someone. Someone who taught me what is truly the meaning of friendship.. daaa!

Some Friends Are Forever
Sometimes in life,
you find a special friend:
someone who changes your life
by being a part of it.
Someone who makes you laugh until you can't stop;
someone who makes you believe
that there really is
good in the world.
Someone who convinces you
that there is an unlocked door
just waiting for you to open it.
This is forever friendship....

When you're down,
and the world seems dark and empty,
your forever friend lifts you up in spirit
and makes that dark and empty world
suddenly bright and beautiful.
Your forever friend gets you through
the hard times,
the sad times,
the confused times.

If you turn and walk away,
your forever friend follows.
If you lose you way,
your forever friend guides you and cheers you on.
Your forever friend holds your hand
and tells you that
everything is going to be okay.

And if you find such a friend,
you feel happy and complete,
because you need not worry.

You have a forever friend for life,
and forever has no end.
